Justine McLisky

Head of Public Engagement, Auckland Art Gallery, New Zealand

I worked with Jan from 2010 -2018 at National Portrait Gallery, London, where I saw first-hand her ability to manage and develop innovative programmes, projects, initiatives and resources for, and with, families. She is highly skilled at raising the profile of audiences through promotion and visual identity development, commissioning artists, illustrators and performers, managing freelancers and contractors, all aspects of project management, maintaining positive relationships with community partners, and writing copy and resources. Jan is always professional,  organised, timely, and, importantly, great to work with.

Sophie Hill

Director of Arts & Events, Bow Arts

Jan was our Project Manager for Raw Materials: Textiles, part of our flagship heritage exhibition series. Jan was great to work with – taking on all the various demands of this multi-faceted role, from managing our volunteers and organising training to exhibition logistics, including loans and the exhibition catalogue. Jan fitted into our small team at Bow Arts quickly and was a pleasure to work with, bringing dedication and enthusiasm to our Heritage Lottery funded project.

Karen Law

Headteacher William Patten School

The feedback from children, staff and parents has been nothing but positive! The children and staff have thoroughly enjoyed working in such a cross-curricular way, debating current affairs, learning new skills, experimenting with new techniques and most importantly having fun! Parents have been very appreciative that current issues are being covered in our curriculum, in a creative way that truly compliments the ethos and values of the school.
